This is a set of six steak knives from Laguiole en Aubrac, the cutlery house of the Aubrac region in France. Each knife carries a serrated steak blade and a handle of olivier, olivewood, and the set is presented in a fitted oak case. Total length is 23 cm: an 11 cm blade and a 12 cm handle.
In wine country, the table is the center of the evening, and the knife in your hand is part of the ritual. These are the knives that turn a grilled ribeye into an occasion: sharp, balanced, and handsome enough to leave on the table between courses.
