Fortnum's Huntsman Picnic Hamper for Four is the Piccadilly house's answer to outdoor dining: a wicker basket accented with recycled canvas, leather trims, and brushed gold hardware, fitted for four. Inside are four enamel plates, four enamel mugs, four wine glasses, two cutlery rolls with knives, forks, spoons, and cotton napkins, plus salt and pepper shakers, a waiter's friend corkscrew, a sandwich bag, a waste bag, and an Eau De Nil flask.
A hamper is only as good as its details, and Fortnum sweats them: the insulated food bag, the flask, the brushed gold hardware. It measures 32 cm high by 48 cm wide by 30 cm deep, and it is hand wash only. The hamper is picnic-ready the moment the lid lifts, no packing list required.
Why it belongs
Vineyard picnics are Napa Valley's native luxury, from a blanket between the rows at golden hour to a catered spread on an estate lawn.
