The EuroCave Pure L is a full size wine cellar for the home, handcrafted in France by a company that has built wine cabinets since 1976. This configuration pairs the Pure L cabinet with a display presentation shelf, so prized bottles can be shown as well as stored. Maximum capacity is 182 standard Bordeaux bottles.
Climate control is the point: active technology guards against heat, light, odor, and swings in temperature and humidity, while a hygrometer, lava rock cassette, and alert system keep aging conditions steady. The Main du Sommelier shelves cradle each bottle on adjustable rubber insets so nothing rolls or rattles, and low heat LED amber lighting shows the collection to its best.
Why it belongs
A Napa estate without a proper cellar is a library without shelves. The Pure L belongs in the tasting room, the guest house, or the collector's corner of the house, holding verticals of Cabernet and the magnums reserved for harvest dinners. With single zone or dual zone temperature ranges, it can age reds at cellar temperature while keeping whites ready to pour, which is exactly how a wine country household drinks.
