The Mix 850 is a study in restraint: a square bowl in EcoSmart’s Fluid concrete, a proprietary mix that is weather-resistant and cool to the eye, holding a ribbon of real flame. It burns bioethanol, so there is no gas line to run, no flue to build, and no smoke to chase guests around the terrace.
A 2.1-gallon fill burns 7 to 9 hours at 20,433 BTU per hour, warming around 646 square feet. It comes in three concrete hues (Natural, Graphite, Bone), measures 33.5 inches square, and weighs 94 pounds: substantial enough to anchor a seating arrangement, light enough to reposition with the seasons.
Why it belongs
Cabernet Season runs November through April, and the terrace should too. A smokeless fire bowl extends the outdoor living season by months with none of the infrastructure of gas. This is the one we would place between the lounge chairs.
