When we get something wrong, we say so, plainly and in the open.
Accuracy is the foundation of Napa Curator. Every feature is researched in person or with the people who made the place, and every detail is checked before publication. When an error gets through anyway, this page is where we own it.
What we correct
Factual errors of any kind: names, dates, prices, attributions, and photography credits. Style and opinion are not errors, but we will clarify a passage if readers consistently misread it.
How corrections appear
The article is updated, and a dated note is added at the foot of the piece describing what changed. We do not quietly rewrite history.
The record so far
No corrections to date. The journal is young, and we intend to keep it that way.
