The history
Beaulieu Vineyard was founded in 1900 by Georges and Fernande de Latour and later guided by the legendary André Tchelistcheff. Treasury Wine Estates describes BV as one of the wineries that established Cabernet Sauvignon as Napa Valley's signature variety, which is not marketing language so much as a plain statement of fact. The estate's Georges de Latour Private Reserve has been one of the valley's benchmark Cabernets for generations. The restoration
The project restored BV's historic stone winery buildings and introduced seven distinct tasting spaces, the winery's first dedicated culinary program, immersive wine education, and expanded areas for club members. The visit
Reservations opened April 20, 2026, and tastings continued at the Reserve Tasting Room through June 29 before moving into the restored building. The seven tasting spaces allow for a properly tiered experience, from introductory pours to deep library tastings, and the new culinary program finally gives the food a formal role alongside the wine. For visitors who know BV only as a name on a bottle, the hospitality center is the argument for going in person.
